Spectrum Drop Shield rigid filters serve as efficient pre or final filters in air intake systems of Gas Turbines, in any environmental condition (including offshore, marine) and in any climate (including tropical). They efficiently remove airborne particulate matter but also snow, mist and fog, acting as a filter and a coalescer in one. DS rigid filters are specially designed for the elimination and drainage of free water and air borne salt crystals. Where subsequent final filters are placed, they protect them not only from coarse dust but also from running in wet conditions, thus significantly prolonging their life and increasing their operational safety.

Spectrum Microvee filters are rigidity constructed filters for coarse and fine particle capturing can be used as both primary and secondary stage filters depends on the class it is rated. The unique filter media is designed with layers of synthetic mesh that has  non-woven sandwiched in between. The pleats are V shaped and rounded well to increase the dust arrestance of filters. Media is further enforced by metal expanded mesh to give extra rigidity to pleats so that peats would retain their shape at higher pressure drop. Equal spacing in pleats is maintained by use of metallic spacers.

An excellent panel type Pre-Filter for Turbomachine intake. The electro galvanized frame is sturdy and corrosion resistant and is of exceptionally high strength. The polyester felt media is pleated with a high carbon steel wire mesh backing. The media is washable to ensure that the panel filter can be repeatedly cleaned. It is an excellent choice as a pre filter for multistage intake air filter house in turbo machinery.
